The first time I heard this song, it reminded me so much of the last time I saw you and said goodbye knowing it would probably be the very last time I would ever see your face again. I could barely hold it together. The first paragraph captures the way I felt when I looked at your sweet face. I wanted to memorize every feature and etch it deeply into my mind and heart for eternity. This song talks about a beginning, but when I heard the first paragraph, I was thinking about an ending.
